Our Vision
The Core exists to help any student belong to a safe and accepting community of Christians students where they can begin and build a life-changing relationship with Jesus by discovering how to become more like God and fulfill the needs around them.
BELONG: Students are looking to belong to a community. During a time where love and acceptance is crucial for an adolescents’ development, it is important that The Core be a place that is safe where any student can come and feel welcomed, connected, and hopefully feel a sense of belonging to this community of Christian Students. BEGIN: Students need to experience a life-changing relationship with Jesus. The Core wants to be a safe place where students can process questions, doubts, fears, and concerns, which will help them to begin their spiritual journey with Jesus. [Concept of Evangelism]
BUILD: Spiritual Growth is important for any Christian to experience. The Core seeks to help students build and grow in their relationship with Jesus as they wrestle through the ups and downs of life’s journey. [Concept of Discipleship]
BECOME: Every goal of any Christian should be to become more like God. The Core strives to help students learn how to become more like Jesus by discovering, developing, and deploying their gifts in the communities they are a part of. We seek to recognize the needs around us and fulfill them in any way we can. [Concept of Worship & Discipleship]
